
Ok here he goes again. Formerly
known as the "God Father" of Loyalty Radio, he is renamed the
"Quad Father" as he readies his fourth radio station for a
loyalty program. WMAY/News Talk, will make VP/GM Glen Gardner the biggest loyalty
player(within a mkt cluster) anywhere in the US!
To puncuate such a launch,
Glen concocts, with Illinois National Bank, a VISA credit card for loyalty players(for
each station) with all seen/unseen opportunities that accompany such an idea.

We talked a while ago about
"Membership having its benefits." Making sure that your loyalty programs
offer great benefits, even if a listener never bids a point. Letting them buy
tickets first, offering them special discounts, two-for-one dinners, emails
from morning shows and other great benefits.
Here in Springfield we have
come up with a new benefit that is very exciting. We have partnered with a bank
to offer loyalty program visa cards. All of our stations will offer listeners
points to obtain the cards. We can offer many expanded benefits to listeners
and clients with these cards. Not only can we offer early ticket purchases,
but we can discount by 10% if they pay with their Frequent Rocker Visa.
We can do Frequent Rocker
days at a merchant where if they pay with their Visa they get a discount or
other perk. The possibilities are huge. We can offer points each time they charge
with the cards.
We are truely leaving our
competition in the dust with the expansion of these programs. Taking the next
step to loyalty credit cards will be a great "benefit."
