Here is an example of how to use the numbers produced by Loyal Ears. We recently did a Loyal Ears promotion with a major fast-food chain on WQLZ, our Active Rock station in Springfield, Illinois. Very simple value-added promotion. Twenty-five on-air liners and a direct email promoting the fact that a keyword would be posted at the counter of the restaurant for 12 hours last Thursday. No remote, no talent costs, no setup, no T-shirts, no balloons, just a word worth 100 points.

We had 175 people take advantage of the offer in market #202. The client was never a big fan of the radio station because he believed the Arbitron story twisted by the competition. Only dirt bags and kids listened to that radio station! These numbers are better than anything Arbitron or the competition could produce. We have a new believer in the radio station.

We now offer a sales package that just features a keyword posted in the business over 12 hours.

This is a very powerful selling tool that your competition just doesn't have.
